Dr. Stephen Hudis, DDS, FACP

Dentist

Being a prosthodontist is more than a career to me. It is a calling. I am as passionate about dentistry today as I was more than 40 years ago. I love coming to work every day and spending time with and caring for wonderful people. I truly believe that what I do can change lives!

Education

I obtained my Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music. Then I attended New York University College of Dentistry, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I completed a general practice residency at Bellevue Hospital Center in New York City. Finally, I earned my certificate in prosthodontics from the New York University College of Dentistry Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics.

Continuing Education

In order to keep my skills sharp and my dental knowledge current, I love to teach! I am an associate clinical professor at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, postgraduate education, and former associate clinical professor in the Jonathan and Maxine Ferencz advanced education program in prosthodontics. Teaching is an opportunity to give back for what I have received, and an opportunity to help nurture the next generation of dentists. I enjoy educating and mentoring young prosthodontists. They are the future of my specialty.

In the Practice

I am an artist at heart! Before I decided to pursue dentistry as a career, I was a professional musician. Prosthodontics gives me the opportunity to combine art, science, and technology. My career has afforded me the ability to change people’s lives, which makes every day incredibly rewarding for me!

One of the primary things I love about my patients is that each and every one is completely different. I love touching other lives and having my life enriched by theirs. After 40 years in practice, I have met some incredible people and made wonderful friends. I look forward to meeting you and your family as well!

My team and I strive to make every day enjoyable for the patients we see. We have worked together for more than 20 years. Each and every member of my team brings incredible talent and strength to the office. We function as a team, and are devoted to providing the best care for our patients. Making people’s lives better is truly our greatest reward!

Family and Community

I was raised in the Bronx, NY, and have lived in Princeton for the past 30 years. I have two wonderful children, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the piano, gardening, traveling, and swimming. I am an officer in the American College of Prosthodontists, active in my community, and have donated to the Dental Lifeline Network for more than 25 years in conjunction with the New Jersey Dental Association. I am also proud to be involved with Dental Volunteers for Israel and have made several trips to Israel specifically to treat underprivileged Arab, Christian, and Jewish children in Jerusalem.

Dr. Emma Amoozadeh, DMD

Dr. Emma received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Prior to joining dentistry, she earned her Master of Science degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at University of Southern California with an outstanding student award. After working for a couple years as a leader in supply chain management, due to her passion in art and science, and willingness to help others, she transitioned to the dental field to pursue her dream. Dr. Emma is contagiously positive and puts sincerity, passion, and detail in all she does. She believes there is nothing more rewarding than seeing patients out of pain and giving them a beautiful smile. Outside of work she enjoys working out, playing with her dog, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

Danielle

Danielle is a woman of many talents and in so many ways she’s the glue that keeps our dental family together. She has been with Yalda Dental since the very beginning. She oversees the operations of the entire practice and ensures that everything is going smoothly for our patients and staff, elevating everyone’s experience in the process.

Danielle’s experiences made her the perfect fit to be our office manager. She graduated from Bucks County Technical High School’s dental assisting program in 1998 and began working in the field while completing her studies at Philadelphia Community College. Danielle has over 20 years experience in virtually every aspect of practice management from dental assisting, radiation safety, sterilization, compliance, and billing. Her favorite clinical domain is assisting in sedations as part of the care team.

Outside of the office, Danielle enjoys spending time with her children, Jourdon and Aidan, and her fiancé, Stephen. They enjoy spending quality time as a family, including dining out in Center City and exploring new beaches.

Elizabeth

Office Manager

Elizabeth is our wonderful office manager. She is delighted to have the opportunity to meet and greet you upon your arrival to the office or over the phone. She has been working in the dental field for over 15 years. In fact, she started in dentistry as a dental assistant, but her love of the phone drew her to the front desk within her first year. She prides herself on being helpful and eager to assist patients, so do feel free to share any of your questions or concerns you may have with her.

Elizabeth has two adult children. Her son, Russell, recently joined the Air Force and his parents could not be prouder. Her daughter, Alyssa, is married and lives in Manhattan, so she enjoys getting a change of scenery while visiting her. When not in the office, Elizabeth enjoys horseback riding and volunteering with church and scouts. She also spends lots of time making her Monroe home into a miniature farm, with chickens and all.

She is looking forward to meeting you and helping to ensure your smile is healthy and beautiful!

She feels privileged to have found such a wonderful, caring office to work at where all the staff are supportive, knowledgeable and professional. Cristal does excellent work and genuinely cares about her patients. She hopes to develop strong bonds and trust with each patient here at this office, all while providing them with exceptional service!

Aside from dental hygiene, a big passion and part of her life is music! She is the pianist and music director of her church, and spends most of her time immersed in all things music when she is not at the office!

Nicolette

Dental Assistant

Nicolette Alongi is a skilled Dental Assistant and a highly valued team member at Azar Dental. In addition to her work as a Dental Assistant, Nicolette is on the path to becoming a Dental Hygienist. She has been fortunate enough to assist Dr. Hudis for the past two years and is very excited to assist Dr. Soheili and learn from the wealth of knowledge that working with him has to offer.

Nicolette originally sought out a career in nursing directly after high school but quickly discovered a lesser interest in that field. Her desire to remain in the medical field steered her toward dentistry. Her dental journey began seven years ago as a front desk receptionist, where she learned the ins and outs of patient coordination and insurance procedures. After some time, she felt the need for more and pursued a path in dental hygiene. After enrolling in Eastern International College's Associates Program in Dental Hygiene, she began as a dental assistant. Soon, her education took priority, and she had to stop working to focus on her studies full-time.

Shortly after graduating, Nicolette found our special office in Princeton. While continuing to gain hands-on experience and in-field knowledge, she devotes her spare time to studying and preparing for the National Board Examination. With the experience she has acquired over time and her patient persona, her chairside manner is something she takes the utmost pride in.

Nicolette’s professionalism and dedication are great complements to our office environment, and we are grateful to have her as part of our team. She is dedicated to making our patients’ experience her top priority and promises that you will feel comfortable and at ease when you walk through the doors. She is looking forward to seeing you soon
